How to Use

For the Face

  • Cleanse Your Face.
  • Apply Serum or Oil or moisturizer to help the gua sha tool glide smoothly over your skin.
  • Hold the Tool Properly: Hold the gua sha tool at a 15-30 degree angle to your skin, so it’s almost flat against your face.
  • Start Gently:
Begin at the neck. Sweep the tool upward from the collarbone towards the jawline. Use gentle to medium pressure.
Jawline: Glide the tool from the center of your chin, moving along the jawline towards the ear.
Cheeks: Starting at the nose, move the tool outward toward the ear. Repeat on both sides.
Under-Eyes: Use the curved edge of the tool to sweep gently from the inner corner of the eye outwards towards the temple.
Forehead: Start at the center of the forehead and sweep outwards towards the temples.
Repeat: Perform each stroke 3-5 times, ensuring not to drag or pull the skin.

For the Body

  • Clean and Prep the Skin: Make sure your skin is clean. Apply body oil or lotion to ensure smooth gliding.
  • Hold the Tool at an Angle: Similar to the face, hold the tool at a slight angle to your skin.
  • Start with the Neck and Shoulders:
Neck: Sweep the tool from the base of the neck upwards.
Shoulders: Use long strokes from the shoulder towards the neck to relieve tension.
  • Arms and Legs:
Arms: Start at the wrist and move upwards towards the shoulder.
Legs: Begin at the ankle and move upwards towards the knee, then from the knee to the thigh.
  • Back and Torso:
Back: Sweep from the lower back upwards or outwards from the spine.
Torso: Sweep from the center of the chest outwards.

Pressure and Duration: Use medium to firm pressure, but adjust according to your comfort. Spend about 10-15 minutes for a full body session.

Clean the Tool: After each use, clean the gua sha tool with mild soap and water. Dry it thoroughly before storing.

Tips:

Consistency: Regular use will yield the best results.
